“I had Kayleigh as my doula and going into my first birth she helped both my husband and I to feel prepared and ready for the natural birth I wanted. She provided resources and information so we could make empowered decisions around my birth. She sat down and made sure she knew our birth plan and what my husband and I wanted so she could help advocate for us and encourage us through it. She was there my whole 16 hour labor helping massage me and apply counter pressure through my contractions and was able to help show my husband how to best apply pressure and help with my breathing. She helped encourage  position changes to help labor progress and made sure to offer water to me between contractions. She was amazing at keeping me focused the whole time even when I wanted to cave and get an epidural. She continued to encourage me and remind me that I could do it. My first birth experience was so amazing and my husband and I are so thankful for her playing such a HUGE role in that. Even after the birth of our baby she made sure the nurses knew what we did and didn’t want done with our baby. Another blessing in having her as our support is her being a licensed massage therapist helped me through pregnancy aches and pains in getting massages as I needed them and she has connections and resources for infant massage for our little one to benefit from if needed. I highly recommend using Kayleigh as your Birth support, I will 100% have her as mine for all future babies as well.”   - Storme
